Happy 1 Week Birthday Happy Goat!

serendipitysanctua13

Life at Serendipity Farm Sanctuary is always full of surprises, and one of the most heartwarming ones came to us in the form of a tiny Nigerian Dwarf goat named Happy Goat. Born prematurely and too weak to stand, Happy Goat’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable.

His mother, a sweet doe who arrived at our sanctuary from a dairy operation, likely found her way to us due to her age and declining milk production. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to produce enough milk for Happy Goat, making his early days even more challenging. Recognizing his need for extra care, we made the decision to bring him inside, where he could receive the warmth, nourishment, and attention he needed to survive.

From the very moment he entered the world, Happy Goat lived up to his name. Even in his weakest state, unable to stand, he never stopped wagging his tiny tail or nuzzling as close as possible to anyone who held him. His unshakable spirit and love for companionship made it clear that he was a fighter with a heart full of joy.

Now a week old, Happy Goat is thriving! He spends his days playing, exploring, and bringing endless smiles to everyone who meets him. As he continues to grow stronger, we will gradually introduce him to the other young Nigerian Dwarf goats at our sanctuary, ensuring that he gets to enjoy the company of his kind when the weather allows.

Happy Goat’s story is one of resilience, love, and the incredible will to live. He reminds us that even the smallest and most fragile beings can possess the biggest hearts. We can’t wait to see him continue to flourish and share his happiness with the world!

Follow along for more updates on Happy Goat’s journey—you won’t want to miss a moment of his joyful adventures!
